SNOWY ST PETER’S
We expect St Peter’s to remain open despite the snow which has fallen in Canterbury this weekend.
We have good supplies of grit in school and the school heating system has been working efficiently, so we should be nice and warm. We are fortunate that most of our staff are local and staff shortages should not therefore, be a problem for us.
We always have great fun playing together in the snow, so please make sure that your child comes to school in a winter coat, with gloves, hat and boots. You may want to send in a change of trousers; jogging bottoms will be fine, and socks so that your child can change out of damp clothes.
If there is any change, we will try to announce it by 8.00am tomorrow. I will place an announcement on our website: www.st-peters-canterbury.kent.sch.uk.
In addition, parents may check the school closures website: www.kent.gov.uk/winter and follow the link to ‘Check school closures’ and listen to KMFM on 106fm.
Have a fun-filled snowy Sunday!
