Remembrance Service 2016

All of the children and staff, along with parents and families, joined together to remember those who have given up their lives in battle.

Each pupil and member of staff laid their own cross in the church. Whilst the classes were laying their crosses, poems written by the children were shaared. Families were also invited to lay a cross in remembrance at the end.

Revd. Boxer spoke to us all about remembering, and learning from the lessons of the past.

We were fortunate to have the last post played by a pupil from Kent College.

At 11am the whole school joined together on the playground to take part in the national 2 minute silence.

Please find below the poems written and shared by our pupils during the service.
