 St Peter’s News 16th November 2018

Doing all the good we can through faith, love and excellence

  • It has been a real pleasure to show families who are considering St Peter’s for their child around the school. Our children have been such a credit to the school as we have been able to show visitors such calm, purposeful learning environments, with friendly and polite children.

  • Class 5 are enjoying their Forest School sessions this term. This week included building fires using wood they had collected and dried themselves.

  • Class 1 have had a mini exhibition of their clay lizards in the library. The children were really proud to show off their colourful works of art.

  • It has been fun to see the children and staff dressed in their spots today for our Children in Need fundraising.

This week worship has been led by Revd Tim, Mrs Wade, Class 3 and Mr Way.
Class 3 performed like professionals on Thursday morning during their class worship. I know that staff and parents alike would be very proud of how the children confidently shared their learning with us all, especially given our last minute change of venue! Thank you to those parents and carers who joined us, and thank you for being flexible with our change of plan.
Lucy shared this prayer during worship on Thursday, “Dear God, Thank you for the school that we learn in.
Thank you for the teachers, who help and look after us. Thank you for all the opportunities you have given us.

Our paid for After School Club run by Miss Collier and the team will continue to run up until the end of term.
