St Peter’s News 22nd March 2019
Doing all the good we can through faith, love and excellence

  • This week and next, we are welcoming some French students into Classes 5 and 6. They will be working alongside the children and learning more about life in an English primary school!

  • We are really proud of our Shakespeare Club who performed at the Marlowe Theatre on Wednesday evening. Well done superstars! Huge thanks go to Mrs Pearson for all her hard work running their weekly club, taking the children to workshops and rehearsals and encouraging them to be the best they can be.

  • Well done to Class 6 who have today walked 6 kilometres carrying 6 litres of water to raise money for a project in Tanzania as part of the annual Walk for Water event.

  • This week the children have brought home a collection box in which they can put old batteries that have run out. When they have filled their box, they should bring it into school to put the batteries in our collection container. For more information on this project, please visit www.bigbatteryhunt.co.uk

  • We raised a great total of £171.80 for Comic Relief!
