Church Links

As a Church School, we are delighted to work closely with St Peter's Methodist Church. In fact, our school building is physically attached to the church so the children visit at least once a week! Reverend Doctor Peggy Kabonde, our Methodist minister, is one of our school governors, who monitors the school's Christian Distinctiveness. She leads worship with the children regularly and is a wonderful resource for Religious Education, spirituality and pastoral care.

The children of St Peter's visit the church every Wednesday as part of our Collective Worship weekly offer. Additionally, the church hosts and supports our pupils and staff in leading special ceremonies throughout the academic year and Christian calendar. These include our Remembrance Service, Christingle, Musical Showcases, Christmas and Easter celebrations and our annual Leavers' Service.
