PE
Our Curriculum Intent
Through the teaching and learning of PE at St Peters, we engage and inspire our children to develop a love of being active and healthy. Our lessons begin by looking at skills, which can then be developed into a range of game situations and add an element of competition too. We have good links with the local high school, attend many competitions, and are able to use the facilities to enhance our PE lessons.
We encourage children to take part in sport within the local community and are building links with local clubs too. We celebrate sport that takes place outside of school by sharing the pupils’ successes on our termly sport newsletter.
